Oceanside Music’s newest choral group begins rehearsals on Thursday nights in September of 2025. This choir will focus on contemporary music under the direction of Musical Director, Carole Baker, and accompanied by pianist, Wendy Alexander.
Carole Baker is a retired educator with 32 years of teaching experience, working primarily in the Coquitlam School District. As a music educator, she taught choir, vocal jazz, band and jazz band to grade 9 to 12 students, which performed extensively both locally and abroad. She was also Music Director of 19 school musicals, coaching all vocal work and directing the pit bands for each performance.
