Songs From the Heart

There’s much to celebrate at this afternoon concert performed by Oceanside Music Association’s only A Cappella group. Steeped in 25 years of history with the Association, this musical group has had many names and performed numerous songs under the direction of many conductors. Known today as Oceanside Consort A Cappella Singers under the direction of conductor, Ann Barber-Becqué, this group will celebrate their history and the 60th Anniversary of Oceanside Music Association with a eclectic mix of songs they love from the early madrigals by Thomas Morley and John Farmer (c. 1600), through folk songs of the British Isles and Canada, popular music and philosophy. The group will also sing two songs arranged by former conductor, Joan Gosseline, of the Allegro Madrigal Singers, which was active before 2001. Join us for an eclectic mix of harmonized song in an intimate setting.
Adults $20. Student/Youth $15. Children under 12, free.
