Under the direction of Musical Director Ann Barber-Becque´, Oceanside Concert Choir performed Handel’s Messiah to a sold out audience on December 7th, 2025. On stage with the choir was the Nanaimo Chamber Orchestra, under the direction of Karl Rainer, returning soloists Adam Dyjack (tenor), Shante´ van Horlick (mezzo-soprano), Michael MacKinnon (baritone) and Andrea Rodall (soprano), and Piccolo/First Trumpeter, Mark D’Angelo and Second Trumpeter, David Steward. It was a wondrous sound that resonated throughout Knox United Church’s sanctuary and beyond. A lovely beginning to the holiday season. Thanks to all that came.
