Families will not want to miss this performance of Olive, the other Reindeer!, a great way to set the tone for the holiday season.
Oceanside Concert Band, conducted by Ed Dumas, is looking forward to a jolly afternoon of winter cheer performing well-known seasonal songs and some twists on the traditional ones with selections like, A Not So Silent Night and A Charlie Brown Christmas. Our special guest, Alistair McVey, a crowd favourite from Echo Players Theatre in Qualicum Beach, will perform a reading of The Night Before Christmas with musical accompaniment. The afternoon also features the inaugural performance of Oceanside Pops Choir. Their lively selections will delight us as their Director, Carole Baker, leads them through their music. The concert culminates with a joint choir and band number that will strike a chord with one and all and finishes off with the invitation to the audience to join Olive, the other reindeer, in a sing-al-long of her favourite carol.
